Cabinet approves release of an instalment of Dearness Allowance to Central Government employees and Dearness Relief to Pensioners due from 01.07.2016

The Union Cabinet under the Chairmanship of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has given its approval to release an instalment of Dearness Allowance (DA) to Central Government employees and Dearness Relief (DR) to Pensioners w.e.f. 01.07.2016 representing an increase of 2% of the revised Basic Pay/Pension, to compensate for price rise. The increase is in accordance with the accepted formula, which is based on the recommendations of the 7th Central Pay Commission.

The combined impact on the exchequer on account of both Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief would be Rs. 5622.10 crore per annum and in the Financial Year 2016-17 for the period of 8 months (i.e. from July 2016 to February 2017), it would be Rs.3748.06 crore. About 50.68 lakh Government employees and 54.24 lakh pensioners will be benefitted.

Registration will commence at 8.30 a.m. sharp. Teachers coming from distant areas should get their tickets reserved for to and fro journey.Please inform us if you are reaching the venue in the evening of 8th July so that proper arrangement for your stay can be made.

सादर वंदे !

साथियों समय आ गया है कि अपनी अंतरात्मा को टटोलकर सही एवं गलत का न्यायोचित निर्णय लें। याद रहे कि असत्य को हमेशा व्याकुलता एवं भागदौड़ से गुजरना ही पड़ता है, ऊँची-ऊँची आवाजें लगाकर लोगों का ध्यान भटकाकर अपनी और आकर्षित करना इसका मूलमंत्र है। इतिहास गवाह है कि जो इन भटकाती एवं गगनचुम्बी आवाजों के फरेबी मकड़जाल में फंसा वह कभी बाहर का रास्ता नहीं तलाश पाया। बाबर ने ऐसा ही किया और परिणाम कितना व कैसा रहा कहने की शायद निहायत तो नहीं है।

शिक्षक वर्ग बुद्धिजीवियों की उच्चतम श्रेणी मे गिना जाता है। इनके विवेक को आंकना मूर्खता ही होगी। कार्य निष्पादन का मूल्यांकन आप से उचित कौन कर सकता है। कौन आप के हित तथा कौन पराहित मे अपनी ऊर्जा का ह्रास एवं संचित धन को अपने स्वार्थ मे संकलित कर रहा है यह आपकी पारखी नजरों से नहीं बच सकता। आज चारों और असत्य ने हाहाकार मचा रखा है और लोग दबी कामना से ऐसी ही उम्मीद सत्य से लगा रहे है, तो आप ही बताये, क्या यह सम्भव है कि सत्य भी असत्य का अनुसरण करे। नहीं साथियों, ना तो कभी ऐसा हुआ है ना ही प्रकृति के अंत काल तक ऐसा सम्भव है।

युगों-युगों के अंधकार के बाद सवेरा होने लगा है इसे आप कैसे रोक सकते हैं । क्या उज्जास को स्वीकार करना आपकी फितरत नहीं है? सत्य को आगे बढ़ाना आपका दायित्व नहीं है? क्यों सत्य के आगमन की बाट जो रहे हो, आप स्वयं सत्य हो तो किसी सत्य को आप के द्वार तक दस्तक देने की आवश्यकता नहीं है। उठो जागो और सत्यता की राह को स्वयं बिना किसी दबाव तथा स्वार्थ के आगे बढ़ाओ, हम आप के साथ है।
